Suzanne

Suzanne completed her pupillage with Messrs Skrine and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2012. Thereafter, she commenced her legal practice with Messrs Jeff Leong, Poon and Wong and has gained extensive legal experience in corporate and commercial matters. In 2017, she founded Alison Lye & Suzanne together with her partner, Alison Lye and subsequently welcomed Fairuz and Dennis as partners in 2020 to expand their legal firm, now known as Suzanne, Lye, Fairuz & Yaw.

She has been acting for clients ranging from individuals, startups, entrepreneurs, sole proprietors, partnerships, joint ventures, small medium enterprises to large multinational companies from industries such as event space and event management, talent managements, agencies, food and beverages (f&b), warehousing, distribution and logistics sectors, hospitality and service sectors, coating and paint solutions in various advisory works, company exercises and transactions.

Over the years she has also been advising clients on estate planning and will-writing to better protect families and their legacies in the event of death. She has been representing clients in obtaining the grants of representations namely the Grant of Probate and Letter of Administration including advising clients on how to navigate the processes in relation to estate administration matters.

Suzanne has also gained experience in handling family matters such as adoption and she has been representing clients in the negotiation for the divorce settlement terms with regard to joint petition applications.
